About us

The idea to found a peripatetic veterinary cardiology service in the Czech Republic has been inspired by the British veterinary system. Mobile cardiology allows dog and cat owners to have in-house referral directly at their home veterinary practice. There is therefore no need for pet owners and their pets to travel long distances to referral hospitals for further investigations. Travelling can be very stressful especially for cardiac patients and in many cases can result in deterioration of their condition. Mobile service also improves continuity of the pet’s care because they continue to be looked after by their primary vet.

MVDr. Eva Pavelková is the only certified veterinary cardiologist in the Czech Republic with a British university degree in cardiology and many years of experience at some top referral centres in the UK and is the only cardiologist to provide a full mobile referral service using her own most up-to-date and technologically advanced equipment. KardioVet services are built on mutual communication, cooperation and trust between the pet owner, referring vet and the cardiologist so our patients receive the best possible care. Welfare of our patients is our absolute priority.
